Specimen Collection Instructions

Preferred Specimen(s)

1 mL serum (0.2 mL minimum volume) collected in a gold top (SST) or red top tube. Must be spun after collection and aliquoted into transport tube container. Specimen should be sent at room temperature to Quest. 

 

Specimen Stability

  • Room temperature: 7 days
  • Refrigerated: 14 days
  • Frozen: 30 days
