Specimen Requirements
1 SST or plain, red-top tube (1 mL of serum). Centrifuge blood as soon as possible and send specimen refrigerated, or send unspun blood to laboratory within 4 hours of draw.
Reference Values
Negative: <1:40
Positive: ≥1:40 (pattern will be reported and
serum will be titered.)
