Specimen Requirements

.  Sample Type:    

•  Serum (free from hemolysis).

•  Plasma (free from hemolysis): Li-heparin.  Do not use other anticogulants.

•  Sample stability:

Centrifuge samples containing precipitates before performing the assay.

Stability:

2 day at 15-25 °C

7 days at 2-8 °C

6 months at (-15)-(-25) °C
