1 plasma gel tube (1 mL of lithium heparin plasma). Centrifuge blood as soon as possible, or send unspun blood to laboratory within 4 hours of draw.Reference Values
0-31 days: 7.0-12.0 mg/dL1 month-14 years: 8.5-10.5 mg/dL
≥15 years: 8.0-10.2 mg/dL
Critical values (automatic call-back): <6.0 mg/dL or >12.5 mg/dL
