Co-Oximetry
Includes direct measurement of O₂ saturation; O₂ content calculated; hemoglobin (Hgb), total; and oxyhemoglobin (FO₂ Hb).

Specimen must arrive within 1 hour of draw.

Draw a lithium heparin blood gas syringe (1 mL of lithium heparin whole blood). Syringe should be placed in wet ice slush immediately after draw.
