Specimen Requirements

Specimen should be centrifuged and tested within 4 hours of draw.

 

Draw blood in a light blue-top (sodium citrate) tube (0.3 mL of sodium citrate plasma). Test must be completed within 4 hours.
Note:  If multiple tubes are being drawn, see “Order of Draw Instructions” in “Specimen Collection, Preparation, and Transport” in “General Information.”
