Culture on chromogenic media
Useful for the isolation and identification of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus in nasal specimens.

Specimen Requirements
1. One aerobic bacterial transport swab collected from the nares.
2. Return aerobic swab to plastic sleeve.
3. Maintain sterility and forward promptly at ambient temperature.
