Specimen Requirements

Specimen must arrive within 2 hours of collection.

1 mL of spinal fluid. Maintain sterility and forward promptly in a screw-capped, sterile vial at ambient temperature only.
Note:  1. Place spinal fluid in tubes numbered 1 through 4. Chemistries should be ordered on second tube.

2. Label specimen appropriately (tube #2).
