Specimen Requirements

1 light green plasma separator tube OR red serum gel tube OR 1 plain, red-top tube (2 mL of serum). Centrifuge blood as soon as possible and send specimen frozen in plastic vial, or send unspun blood to laboratory within 4 hours of draw.

0-39 years :0.00-2.00 ng/mL

40-49 years: 0.00-2.50 ng/mL

50-59 years: 0.00-3.50 ng/mL

60-69 years: 0.00-4.50 ng/mL

70-79 years: 0.00-6.50 ng/mL

>80 years: 0.00-7.20 ng/mL
