Specimen Requirements
1 serum no-gel tube (1 mL of serum (no additive) drawn at any time during vancomycin therapy, other than times listed for peak and trough draws. Centrifuge blood as soon as possible, or send unspun blood to laboratory within 4 hours of draw.
